The Gerband SD Control Airtight Membrane is a high-performance vapour control layer (VCL) engineered for internal airtightness in low-energy and Passive House projects. Designed as an upgrade to the Gerband SD2, this next-generation membrane delivers superior tensile strength and elongation, ensuring maximum durability and long-term airtightness in modern building envelopes.

Its advanced multi-layer structure provides optimal vapour diffusion resistance (SD value of 2.3 m ± 0.2 m), helping to regulate internal moisture levels while maintaining the integrity of the building fabric. The membrane is easy to install, compatible with all Gerband adhesive tapes and sealing accessories, and ideal for use on timber-frame, steel-frame, and masonry constructions.
