Installation

1. Apply duct sealant to the male fitting
2. Push the male connector into the ducting
3. Apply aluminium duct sealing tape over the joint for an airtight seal
4. Alternatively, self-sealing fittings can be used for faster installation and easy dismantling

Insulation of Ductwork

• Cold Areas – Ducts in colder areas (e.g., loft spaces) should be insulated with 25mm thick duct wrap to prevent condensation
• Warm Spaces – Insulation is also required on intake and exhaust legs carrying cold air in warm spaces. This can be achieved with 25mm duct wrap featuring a silver foil face over 25mm rockwool
