Installation:

For optimal airtightness and durability:

1. Use plastic ducting sealant and aluminium duct sealing tape
2. Apply sealant to the male fitting
3. Push together and apply aluminium tape over the joint
   Alternatively, use self-sealing fittings for quicker installation (up to 70% faster) and easy disassembly

Insulation of Ductwork:

Ducting in cold areas (e.g., lofts) must be insulated to prevent condensation

• Insulation should be 25mm thick with a thermal conductivity of 0.04W/(m.k) or less
  Even without loft space, insulation is recommended for intake and exhaust ducts
• Use 25mm duct wrap with silver foil face on 25mm Rockwool
• Note: Bubble wrap is no longer compliant with building control regulations
