Insulation of Ductwork:

Ducting in cold areas (e.g., loft spaces) should be insulated with 25mm thick insulation, with thermal conductivity of 0.04W/(m.k) or less to prevent condensation
If no loft space, insulated ducting is still needed on intake and exhaust legs carrying cold air in warm spaces
Insulation can be achieved with 25mm duct wrap with a silver foil face or rockwool
Bubble wrap is no longer applicable in building control regulations
