Description: The Vent Matika EKA NIS range of electric duct heaters is designed to be used in ventilation systems, serving as either a comfort heater or a preheater to protect the ventilation unit from frost. ❄️ These heaters are controlled by an external 0 to 10v DC signal from a compatible MVHR unit or independent controller.

💡 Control Options:

With a 0-10v sensor from a compatible MVHR unit or independent controller, you can achieve 0-100% control of the heater’s power. 🔄

🔥 Overheating Protection:

• Automatic Reset: Turns off when the temperature reaches 50°C, automatically turns on once it drops below 50°C. 🔄
• Manual Safety Reset: Shuts off when temperature reaches 100°C. To restart, remove the cause of overheating and press the RESET button. 🛑

🏗️ Construction:

Manufactured from Aluzinc coated steel, known for being high-temperature resistant. 🔥

🛠️ Mounting:

• Heaters should be installed indoors, away from moisture.
• Mount horizontally with the electrical connection box facing upwards or sideways.
• Can be mounted vertically (only if air flow direction is upwards).

🛠️ Optional Accessories:

• PTC Airflow Sensor: Protects from insufficient airflow (only works if airflow velocity is 1.5m/s or higher).
• PS Differential Pressure Switch: Provides mechanical protection against airflow loss. Heater will not operate unless a minimum airflow of 1.5m/s is reached.

Note: The PTC or PS option may not work on smaller domestic MVHR or MEV systems with lower airflow rates. ⚠️

Additional Sensors/Protection Options:

• PTC/PS – Minimum air velocity & differential pressure switch detection.
• PTC/K – Minimum air velocity detection & contactor for overheating protection.
• 2NTC – Two sensors for air temperature measurement.
• PTC/2NTC – Minimum air velocity detection & two sensors for air temperature.

🔧 By ordering the PS option, an internal contactor for power supply is added to the heater as well.
