The Vent-Axia Sentinel Econiq S is a premium MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system, designed for homes up to 210m².
With SAP Appendix Q approval, smart controls, and high-efficiency performance, it ensures optimal indoor air quality while being easy to install. BPC Ventilation supplies this unit with a 5-year parts warranty and lifetime technical support.

The integral humidity sensor increases speed in proportion to relative humidity levels, saving energy and reducing noise. The sensor also reacts to small but rapid increases in humidity, even if the normal trigger threshold is not reached. This unique feature ensures adequate ventilation, even for the smallest wet room. The nighttime relative humidity setback feature suppresses nuisance tripping as humidity gradually increases with falling temperature.

Digital Controller

A digital controller is supplied fitted to the unit allowing multiple options on programming and controllability, including 4 x Integral infinitely variable fan speed control on supply and extract. An optional kit allowing you to remove the controller from the unit and wall mount in your chosen location
There is also a pin number facility to prevent accidental resetting of commissioning settings

App Control

The Vent-Axia Connect smartphone application allows full control with a multitude of functions from automated to fully adjustable from the comfort of the sofa on iOS and Android smartphones

Orientation

This unit can be electronically changed from right to left hand orientation
100% summer By-pass
During hot weather you can activate the summer By-Pass that will only bring the filtered air in at external temperatures allowing you to naturally cool your home

Low Noise Levels

The Lo-Carbon Sentinel Econiq range is one of the quietest systems on the market, with a noise level as low as 15.5 dB(A). This is facilitated using an internal acoustic enclosure.
Demand Control Ventilation
The Vent-Axia Connect smartphone application allows a multitude of functions to be adjusted from the comfort of the sofa, available on iOS and Android.
BMS

The BMS capability is also ideal for those commercial applications where landlords or property managers want to monitor and optimise building performance and maintenance.
The Kinetic BMS can provide status information and its self-diagnostics can report if any fault is found.

Filtration

The unit comes supplied with ISO 60% Coarse (G4) which can filter out sand, fine hair, and particles larger than 10μm.
Additional filtration can be achieved with a selection of optional supply air filters (extract still use G4)
ePM10 (M5), which can filter pollen, stone dust, and particles smaller or equal to 10μm
ePM2.5 (F7), which can filter out mould spores, bacteria and particles smaller or equal to 2.5μm.

Acoustic enclosure

For scenarios where noise is a critical issue, an optional Acoustic Enclosure is available to reduce breakout noise and the Acoustic Top Box will reduce in-duct noise at key frequencies.

Frost Protection

Automatic frost protection effective to -20°C
Fresh air programme
Evening Fresh’ turns the unit to maximum speed with the bypass
operational for 2 hours or until the user comfort temperature is
reached (default 21°C).
Night-time Fresh’ will run the unit at maximum speed with the
bypass operational throughout the night or until the dwelling
reaches minimum temperature (default 14°C).
