Insulation & Condensation Prevention
To prevent condensation in cold areas (e.g., lofts), ensure ducting is insulated with 25mm thick insulation (thermal conductivity of 0.04W/m·K or less).
- Insulate intake and exhaust ducts with 25mm rockwool duct wrap with a foil face.
- Bubble wrap insulation is no longer compliant with building control regulations.
