Models

Available in 4 models and 4 versions, the Thermover range covers flow rates from 600 to 5000 m³/h.

The Thermover range is available in 4 versions in order to suit different usage conditions:

First: Self-regulating, plug & play, Modbus RS485 networked station for use in a temperate climate supported by a reversible, thermodynamic system, active temperature management through optimised energy consumption and climate control as well as continued indoor air quality control (IAQ) via a CO2 sensor.

Premium: Identical to First but also equipped with an electric battery for precision heating and air blow or ambient intake temperature control for external temperatures as low as -15°C.

Must: First features and also including integrated hydraulic kit for ECS production in all seasons.

Genius: Identical features to Premium including integrated hydraulic kit for ECS production.

Filtration

Thermover units are fitted with F7 opacimetric filters for the supply and extract airflows.

Construction

The Thermover station is composed of 3 modules, 2 ventilation modules with a fan motor and filter with the central module combining all energy recovery and thermodynamic functions for heat and cooling.

Constructed of aluminium with polyamide thermal break space and 10/10^e double skin panels

External face is pre-lacquered RAL 7035 metal with protective film and the internal face is constructed of galvanised

Rectangular connections with straightforward fastening to the aluminium structure

Fast and easy access via screw secured panels

Technical compartment access via hinged doors with screws

Motors

Direct current high efficiency plug fan with electronic commutation (EC), integrated thermal overload and variable speed protection. EC technology is an econological® solution guaranteeing low energy consumption (RT2012) for the management, control and regulation of the operating point (flow rate regulation). Fans are fitted with a signalling pressure transmitter for the regulation of an eventual fault. Low noise levels for superior acoustic comfort.

Exchanger

Certified Eurovent, variable speed, high efficiency aluminium rotary exchanger with drain section. The exchanger is mounted on slide rails for easier removal and maintenance.

The variable speed of the exchanger enables improved Thermover station performance particularly during the mid-season period.

The exchanger is fitted with a rotation detector which is associated with Easy regulation and indicates the (default) working order of the variable motor or the timing belt.

Insulation of Ductwork

We recommend you use Metal Spiral Ducting and fittings due to superior strength.

To provide the best performance in airtightness and durability we recommend You provide greater mechanical strength to a joint by using self-sealing fittings or a combination of Ducting Sealant and Aluminium Duct Sealing Tape.

It is important that any ducting located in a cold area (e.g. loft space) to be insulated. The insulation needs to be the equivalent of 25mm thick and have a thermal conductivity of 0.04W/(m.k) or less.

This ensures that condensation doesn’t form due to the difference in air temperature inside the duct when compared to the air temperature in the cold space.

If you don’t have a loft space there is still a need for insulated ducting on the intake and exhaust legs, as they will be carrying cold air in a warm space. The level of insulation can be achieved by wrapping PVC duct in a layer of 25mm duct wrap that has a silver foil face on a 25mm rockwool

It is also worth noting that foil wrap with air bubbles (bubble wrap) is no longer applicable in building control regulations.
